Comments:

Event - A local version of "Love Parade" called "Freedom Parade". Lots of colourful costumes and dance / club / trance music all around.

Photography - the innocent-looking DMC-FZ2 with it's powerful 12x image-stabilised zoom is just perfect here. Unfortunately I had to throw away about 400 shots from later in the evening, since the FZ2 just doesn't cut it anymore when lights go low. This depressing amount of wasted shots was one of the reasons I decided to jump to a DRebel (the Canon EOS 300d Digital Rebel).
