Event - "Miss Motorex 2004" beauty pageant. A bonus event for visitors of the Motorex car exhibition. Except for those, who maybe came specifically for the beauty pageant:) I shot a lot more car pictures but ended up deleting most of them. Yeah the cars looked nice, but in the end they were just a big yawn compared to the girls.
Photography - In retrospect I'm not so sure cropping the pictures was such a hot idea. With all the sharpening and noise-removal, the cropped pictures ended up looking a lot worse than the uncropped ones, even if they had lots of dead space around them. Built-in flash also tended to shine back from the make-up of some of the girls, maybe a separate flash unit would have solved that. Nit-picking aside, most of the pictures look tolerable and the girls look nice, so I'm happy.
