Event - "Battle of the Eeast 2004" break-dance competition and afterparty. Amazing feats, flexibility, moves, jumps and and gravity-defying stunts - absolutely breath-taking!
Photography - I opted for a 1/500 shutter at ISO 1600 and maximum apertures during the competition. This underexposed the images slightly but 1/500 was simply the minimum acceptable shutter to freeze the action properly. Auto white balance gave a warm cast as expected, but I like it. Things got easier during the after-party - since flash was no longer prohibited and it was dark, the flash did all the freezing for me and shutter speed no longer mattered.
