Event - This was a completely rogue mission. I really hadn't told anyone I'd be doing this beforehand, so that if it turned out to be a complete disaster, I could quietly delete the pictures and not think of it again. So why did I do it? I always wanted to witness a crowd of wild women treat men as sex objects, but apart from becoming a male stripper myself (well... nah), there really was no way to do it, since these events are usually completely closed to men. Just like this one was. Apart from the photographer that is:) I really had no idea whether it was going to be raunchy or embarrassing or what. In the end and above all though, I think it was just pure fun, since the women REALLY let it loose and both the performers and the crowd were obviously enjoying themselves and each other.

I didn't stick around for the afterparty though, since I discovered that one of the lenses that I had previously loaned to a friend of mine was not working anymore and that kind'a ruined my mood. Too bad, because being the only male in the club (apart from the male strippers, but they were only onstage and only briefly to boot), there certainly was no shortage of female attention:)

Photography - The front of the stage was extra-cramped, so there was no way of actually seeing what I was taking pictures of. Using the viewfinder was next to impossible, so mostly I just had to aim in the general direction of the action, press the shutter and hope for the best, resulting in horrible framing. Additionally, the show was over in what seemed like only 5 minutes, so it seemed like I was hardly able to take any pictures at all.
