Event - At first, some boardgames at the university cafeteria and then "Student Song 2005" (or is it "Student Band"?) competition. This and al the coming events this week are part of Student Spring Days 2005 in Tartu.
Photography - I have some old custom white balance from who-knows-when stored in my 350D. Slightly bluish but seems to work well in most situations. Now that I've backed up a bit from my previous aggressive in-camera JPEG saturation and contrast settings (I used to keep them both at +2, now they're set at 0), the overpowering red lights in concert settings are no longer the picture-killers they used to be. I blamed the lights whereas I should have blamed myself and my in-camera processing settings:) Once again, no post-processing at all, this is straight from the camera and resized. ISO 1600 on the 350D is absolutely fantastic and with normalized in-camera processing settings, I can actually stand to look a the pictures even without any noise-removal, level correction or any other post-processing.
