Event - As much as I enjoyed the midnight song festival (see previous gallery), I had to leave since I had promised to go take pictures of raunchy semi-naked women wiggling in wet clothes - at two different nightclubs, at the same time! Sounded like mission impossible but in the end I was able to make it to both events. In reality the "wet t-shirt" competition at "Atlantis" turned out to be more of a "no t-shirt" competition and the one at "Pattaya" would have been more aptly named a "dry t-shirt" competition. Atlantis had 16 contestants, 5 finalists of whom turned to nudity to aid them in winning the competition. Pattaya had 4 contestants and their shirts not only stayed on for the whole time (to the unending disappointment of the audience), but were also disappointingly dry most of the time. Then again, the girls themselves (except maybe the one who won at Atlantis) may have been an inch cuter. So which competition was better? You decide:)

Photography - Flash, motion and stagelights do not mix. I should have decreased the shutter speed to minimize ghosting and capture sharper detail. Or alternatively I should have tried ISO 1600 and no flash at all. Well maybe next time. For some reason I keep getting constant underexposure when I mix stagelights with flash. I have yet to discover what the problem is, but right now all pictures had to be level corrected. Since they were all low ISO pics which respond well to sharpening, I decided to throw some unsharp-mask into the mix.
