Photography - Although the surroundings at Taevaskoda were superb, my pictures seem pale and lifeless. Luckily things went uphill from there. The dark Piusa caverns called for slow-shutter photography, and since I absolutely love low-light pictures, I am even happy with all the not-so-good ones. I was especially surprised to discover the usability of hand-held pictures way beyond what should theoretically be possible. Hand-held pictures with shutter speeds of one, two or more seconds is usually a recipe for disaster, yet these pictures seem perfectly usable to my eye. The surrounding Piusa landscape pictures are tolerable as well, although they were definetly helped more by the setting sun than my increased competence in this area. The climbing and balancing pictures at the end are mostly by Mari-Liis and Kristi.
