Event - My annual pastime is here again, taking pics at the September 1 inaugural ceremonies (though it hardly ever is September 1, this time it was August 29). It may seem like I was actually doing something up there to draw everyone's attention, but honest, I was not. I was just sitting quietly with my camera resting on the balcony fence in front of me. It was strange though, almost every time I looked at someone for a little bit longer, sooner or later she (or he) looked back at me - and of course I pressed the shutter:) Why or how they knew to look at my camera, I have no idea.
Photography - Couldn't have done it without a bean bag. With shutter speeds as low as 1/25 at 200mm (320mm effective), I don't think even image stabilization would have worked. I know I should have cropped many of the pictures, but I didn't feel like tinkering that much with them.
