Event - "Koolitants" school dance competition finals in Jõhvi. "Koolitants" has grown to be the highlight of the year for high school students in Estonia and a place where students from all over the country can compete on an equal footing.
Photography - I've finally managed to work with red stagelights without blowing the red channel. Primes ruled all the way, first and foremost the 85mm F1.8 Canon for more details, followed by the 50mm F1.8 Canon for medium range, complemented by the 30mm F1.4 Sigma for wide angle or extreme low light shots. I don't think I used the Tamron F2.8 28-75mm even once during the two days of shooting. It'd be interesting to try out a 70-200mm F2.8 lens at some point in the future for similar events. Of course all the afterparty flash pics are with the kit lens as always.
