Event - A combined event of fashion, peformance and dance, a showcase of young artists.
Photography - I got to try out the 30D of a photography student and was delighted to find out that my otherwise fussy Tamron 28-75mm F2.8 performed and focused on that camera perfectly. Looks like my specific copy of Tamron just doesn't like my specific copy of 350D. As for my experience with the 30D, I think I'll be happy to stick with my current 350D and wait for its successor. The 30D was heavy and cumbersome in comparison, focus accuracy was better and the ability for 5 FPS and ISO 3200 were nice, but at least the few hours I spent with it were completely unable to convince me to switch. I love the 350D:)
