Event - Gaudeamus Song And Dance Festival, the joint song festival of Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian students took place in Tartu. First up is the opening ceremony, then the procession and finally the actual festival.
Photography - The sun really isn't my thing. I love penetrating the darkness with my F1.4-F1.8 lenses or controlling the light with my flash in a club environment, but when it is bright all around, I am at a loss. Or maybe I just have too little experience shooting in the sun, either way, I was struggling. The Sigma 55-200mm F4-F5.6 lens is nice and portable, but I miss the bigger depth of field and better sharpness of my primes. Still I've been able to resist getting a F2.8 70-200mm lens, but I wonder how long I can hold it off.
