Event - Christopher Street Parade in Berlin is the biggest tolerance parade in Europe, with about 450 000 gay and lesbian people and their friends participating this year. The first part of the gallery shows the parade through the streets of Berlin. The second part concentrates on the party after the parade near the Victory Column at the Tiergarten park (yes, the same place where Love Parade took place just a week earlier).
Photography - These pictures are straight from the camera, except for the filtering. May seem like unnecessary for ISO 100 pictures shot in bright light, but it also adds a slight bit of sharpening and the detail loss is unnoticeable on the web. Some pictures would benefit from manual correction as well, for example some need level correcting, since the black is not black but gray. This tends to happen when shooting without a hood or using flash in the sun. Some pictures also need a saturation boost, but for manual correction there are just too many pictures and I currently only have a limited amount of time available.
