Event - Eurovision 2007 semifinal performances at Hartwall Areena. 28 countries battle it out, only 10 advance to the finals

Photography - The seats meant for photographers to be able to take their pictures were horrible. Not only were they so far from the stage, that only those with 400mm or 500mm fixed lenses were able to take decent photos, they were also to the side, which is simply unacceptable. Only a few select major press agency photographers (Reuters, Scanpix) were allowed down and into the middle, the rest of us had to cope with the horrible seating on the side. I tried to move around a bit to get closer to the action, but that only meant I ended up even more to the side. Oh well. And of course my 200mm maximum capability proved completely inadequate here.
