I'm really feeling it for this poor 350D. It was laying on the ground, just minding its own business, when a colossal wave of mud came flying through the air. Some girls were having some extra-curricular fun in the mud, but this poor 350D was the innocent victim.

Comments:

Event - Wet t-shirts, female mudwrestling, silicone playboy boobs... The quality of my galleries is really going down the toilet isn't it:) Yeah but I was only equipment testing, that's all. Honest. I have absolutely no interest whatsoever in scantily clad nubile young... ahem, nevermind. I guess I should go find myself some flowers and bees and sunsets to take pictures of.

Photography - Exactly a year ago I attended this event only to try out the low-light focusing capabilities of Sigma 70-200mm F2.8 (see the gallery here: http://antonipildid.net/07.04.27_Mudwrestling). Now I attended only to try out the 40D and Sigma 50-150mm F2.8 combo. A somewhat less frustrating experience. Still lots of missed focus shots, but not as much as last time. Also the ISO 3200, 6.5 FPS and custom camera settings options of the 40D came in handy. The 50-150mm was the only lens I brought along, so no wide area or audience shots this time.
